Fundraising couple will bring a smile this Christmas
There's no end to the generosity of kind-hearted fundraising couple Paul and Jane Bottomley. '¨The pair, who live in Sowerby Bridge, have tirelessly raised money for Calderdale Royal Hospital's Macmillan ward after Jane was treated there for ovarian cancer.
Since then, they have donated stacks of gifts to the ward to bring some comfort to those undergoing treatment.
Recently, they donated four pressure cushions for the unit, which cost around £400. These are designed to help chemotherapy patients, as they often have to sit down for hours at a time.
They have also created a huge hamper to raffle off, to raise funds for the unit.
