Funeral date for teenager
The funeral of a teenager who was tragically killed after being hit by a train will take place next week.
Milena Gagic, 16, was hit by a train close to Hipperholme tunnel on Saturday, December 13.
The funeral service will be held at Halifax Minster on Tuesday, December 30, at 11am, followed by a private burial. Donations would be appreciated for Greenpeace and Halifax Minster.
Floral tributes have been left at the scene clsoe to where the Crossley Heath School student and former Brighouse High pupil died, describing her as a “wonderful” and “talented” girl.
