Gallery: Top brass entertain at Hebden Bridge March Contest

Twelve bands competed in the annual competition which took place in Hebden Bridge town centre, with one band travelling all the way from Stoke to take part.

The overall winners were The Hammonds Band from Saltaire and were awarded with the Alan Bottomley Memorial Shield.

Richard Brier, Musical Director of Hebden Bridge Junior Band, said: “It was fabulous. Hebden Bridge provided a beautiful setting as the valley is a natural amphitheatre. As a junior band it is a privilege to play with these top bands.”
