Here and There and Bridging grace the valley walls below Yorkshire Water’s Baitings Reservoir, above Ripponden.

They form part of the Fields of Vision project designed to animate Day Two of the Grand Départ, of the Tour de France, commissioned as part of the Yorkshire Festival 2014 – the first ever arts festival to precede the Tour de France in its 111 year history.

The Here and There piece has been designed as a reflection of the reservoir water, with two splashes moving in opposite directions, one red and one blue, with white highlights; colours inspired by the French Tricolour.

Bridging has been created using a range of media to translate Tour de France into Urdu calligraphic text (known as Sulus).
