Gritters to patrol Calderdale ahead of falling temperatures

The Met Office has issued a yellow ‘be aware’ warning for West Yorkshire, which is valid from 6pm this evening until 11am tomorrow (Sunday).

A spokesperson said: “Icy patches are expected to form on untreated surfaces this evening and overnight onwards into Sunday morning, especially where further snow showers occur after dark.

“The public are advised to take extra care and be aware of the potential for some disruption to travel.”
