Halifax business donates food to care homes and hospices in Calderdale

Donations of food from a Halifax firm have been delivered to care homes and hospices across Calderdale to help them through the coronavirus crisis.

Tony Collins, who is area manager for Spencer Sutcliffe Security and Training, has been dropping off food to different places, including Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice, Valley View Care Home, Pellon Manor and Overgate Hospice.

The donations have come from the company and Tony himself.

Tony said: “Me and my boss, Spencer Sutcliffe, believe in helping other people as much as we can and we’re striving to help where possible.”
