Halifax folk like good company but not spending money, survey reveals

People in Halifax don’t like travelling, spend little money and like good company.

That’s according to a survey by Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire, which asked 1,000 people from towns all over the country what they think makes the perfect event.

The survey also revealed that people from Halifax said July was their favourite month to attend events, despite October being the busiest month, and that nearly 20 per cent of people will only attend free events.

An entertaining guest list and a drive time of one hour are also crucial.

Only nine percent of people wanted to be at an event for five hours.
