Halifax MP anger over last bank closure in Sowerby Bridge

The MP of Halifax hit out at Lloyds Banking Group over their plan to close the Halifax bank in Sowerby Bridge, which is the last remaining bank in the town.

Citing the impact on elderly customers and businesses in particular Holly Lynch MP is calling on the bank to rethink the decision.

Halifax have announced that the branch on Wharf Street will be closing on July 11.
