Halifax singer-songwriter announced as support act to Lionel Richie

AJ has toured extensively as support artist for legends Burt Bacharach, Sir Tom Jones, Sir Cliff Richard, Simply Red, Jools Holland, Will Young and George Benson.

AJ, who has a new album and UK tour scheduled for late 2018, has performed at Scarborough Open Air Theatre previously supporting Sir Tom Jones, Will Young and Simply Red.

He said: “I am absolutely delighted to be supporting Lionel Richie in Scarborough.

“I’m Yorkshire born and bred so it is a real honour for me to be able to support such an international icon on home soil.”
