Halifax Town has higest fees in National League

Halifax Town has the most expensive admission prices in the National League, according to a recent survey.

The cheapest match-day ticket is nine-per-cent above the league average at £17. The most expensive Halifax Town match-day ticket is two-per-cent below the league average.

The cost for a season ticket is the highest in the league at £319.

The annual Price of Football survey examines the cost of everything from season tickets, to match-day programmes and refreshments. The cost of a cup of tea at The Shay is just £1, a programme £3 and a half-time pie, £2.50.

A supporter’s shirt, will set you back £49.50 with a child’s costing £42.95.

Seventy per cent of UK clubs saw a price freeze or reduction based on last year.

Derby County, Reading and Huddersfield’s £10 match-day ticket is the cheapest in the top five leagues in England. While the most expensive is Arsenal, where a match-day brief will cost you £97.
