Halifax woman bags the trip of a lifetime to New York City

In August, all motorists who purchased a new or used car or van from Perrys dealerships across the country were entered into a prize draw to win a trip to either Dubai, New York, Las Vegas or Lanzarote.

She will now be flying to New York next spring with her husband, Dennis and will be treated to a 5* luxury stay at a hotel in Manhattan, plus a helicopter tour of the Big Apple.

Lynn said: “I couldn’t believe it when I’d been told I had won the competition from Perrys. I’d been on the look-out for a new car for a while, and when I saw the Vauxhall Corsa I thought it would be perfect for me – I had no idea it would come with a trip to New York, too!

“This will be the second time we will be visiting the city, which means it will give us the chance to see the sights we missed the first time, such as the Statue of Liberty, Rockerfeller Center and ‘The View’ revolving restaurant.

In addition to being entered into the prize draw, every motorists’ purchase came with a choice of a free gift; a dashcam, spa break or driving experience – Lynn opted for a dashcam.
