Double Paralympic Games gold medallist Hannah Cockroft admits failing to retain her twin crown at this month’s World Championships would be a ‘massive failure’.
The 20-year-old from Halifax heads to Lyon as overwhelming favourite in the T34 sprint classifications after her stunning success at London 2012.
“My biggest hope is just to defend the two gold medals and my double world champion title,” said Hannah. “I want to record some good times, hold on to my title, and just enjoy it. The World Championships is always a fantastic event.”
BT has a long history of supporting Paralympic sport and is a partner of the British Paralympic Association all the way to 2016.
