Elland doctor's surgery put up for sale after closure

Burley Street Surgery closed at the end of June and is now on the open market with Walker Singleton who are looking of for offers over £300,000

In a statement over the closure, NHS Calderdale Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) said: it is responsible for the planning and buying of GP services in Calderdale.

The closure has come due to the retirement of doctor Falak Naz.

"The premises would suit a variety of uses to include clinical, offices, leisure or retail subject to the relevant prior planning approval," said Walker Singleton.

"As well as the sizeable car park to the front the property benefits from a secure gated car park at the rear suitable for approximately four cars.

"Internally the premises benefits a reception and waiting area with a variety of smaller consultation and examination rooms.

"Fixtures and fittings available via separate negotiation."
