NURSING of the past, present and future was showcased in Halifax as part of an event to celebrate Nurses’ Day.
Nursing staff, including those who work out in the community as well as ward staff, were on hand to talk about the work they do at Central Library.
There were displays about nursing throughout history, as well as information for those thinking of a career in nursing. Director of nursing at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust Helen Thomson said: “Nursing is a varied and challenging career and it takes a special kind of person to make a good nurse.
“Nurses’ Day is all about celebrating the huge contribution nurses make and recognising the hard work they do.”
