Members of Calderdale Young Farmers Club (pictured) have received a £200 donation from Greetland oil supplier Townson Thornber to help with the cost of sporting competitions.
Over 70 members aged between 10 and 26 meet weekly at Warley Vandals Rugby Club and compete regularly in competitions at county and national level. The money from the firm’s bursary fund has bought netball bibs and rounders equipment. Company regional manager Jonathan Best said the club provided opportunities for young people to socialise and take part in a variety of fun activities. “We were more than happy to support the funding of new sporting equipment,” he said.
