This December, all Calderdale sports centres are offering discounts on adult annual memberships.

Read: The Piece Hall Big Sing has been nominated for a national awardIf you pay for a year upfront, you’ll get 14 months membership for the price of 12 and if you choose to pay by Direct Debit the joining fee will be £10, with no monthly payments until February 2018.

Anyone who joins online will pay a reduced £5 joining fee.

Calderdale Council’s Cabinet Member for Neighbourhoods and Communities, Coun Susan Press, said: “January is always the busiest time for gym memberships, but with this great December offer you can get a head start on your fitness goals and save money!

Calderdale memberships include the use of five fitness centres across Calderdale – Halifax Pool, North Bridge Leisure Centre, Sowerby Bridge Pool and Fitness Centre, Brighouse Pool and Fitness Centre and Todmorden Sports Centre.

There is also a special membership available for students who may be returning home for the Christmas break. This special one-month membership is just £25.95, and allows access to full membership benefits for 30 days.
