Wayne Anthony’s Executive Barbers was awarded Barbers of the Year Yorkshire at the annual English Hair and Beauty Awards Chapter 2 at a ceremony in Manchester.

The awards, which were organised by Creative Organic, recognised and celebrated those in the hair and beauty industry who make us look and feel our best and often go above and beyond to do so.

Irfan Younis, CEO of Creative Organic, said: “Every year the industry keeps growing and improving and it was great to see old faces and new come together at the awards. We want to congratulate all the nominees and winners for this year and we hope to see you all next year too.”

The evening helped to raise funds for the Make A Wish Foundation, a charity which provides magical experiences to children and young people facing life-threatening conditions.

There were 28 awards given out to businesses during the ceremony.

Another Calderdale business, Radiance Beauty Spa, also came home with a prize as it clinched Beauty Salon of the Year Yorkshire and then went on to win the overall Beauty Salon of the Year title.
