The Peugeot contained a large amount of football coaching equipment, including a large number of training bibs and footballs.

Other personal items including mobile phones were also stolen.

Det Insp Gary Stephenson of Calderdale CID said: “I would appeal to anyone who may have been in the area in the early hours of Wednesday morning and may have seen or heard anything suspicious to come forward.

“The suspects have not only stolen personal vehicles, but have also taken a large amount of coaching equipment, which forms part of the victims livelihood in providing sports training to able-bodied and disabled children and adults across the area. If anyone has been invited to buy the items, or has seen them for advertised for sale I would ask that they speak to the police. Enquiries are ongoing.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Calderdale CID via 101, alternatively you can make an anonymous report to the independent anonymous crime charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111.
