Host of stars come to Little Theatre for charity chinwag

There will be a host of stars in conversation with the BBC Radio Leeds presenter, including BAFTA-award-winning television writer Sally Wainwright, and landscape water colourist Ashley Jackson.

Sally is best-known for television series Happy Valley, which has just started filming its second series in the area, as well as Last Tango in Halifax.

Music on the evening will be provided by local musician Roger Davies, the self-styled “Yorkshire songwriter” who has tickled audiences in the past with his song ‘The Beerbelly Blues’ and charmed them with ballad ‘Stephanie’.

Included in the ticket price is a glass of wine on arrival donated by John Gumbley, of Oasis Wine Store in Hebden Bridge, and all profits will go to the Forget Me Not Trust.

The event will take place on Friday October 16 at 7pm at The Little Theatreon Holme Street in Hebden Bridge.
