I feared he would kill me

A TERRIFYING mugging left wheelchair-bound Samantha McNulty fearing for her life.

The 28-year-old was grabbed round the throat and tipped backwards by her attacker, who stepped over her as he escaped leaving her unable to get up. “I thought he was going to kill me,” she said,.

“I thought he was going to stamp on my head or stab me.”

Samantha, from Valley View Road in Heptonstall, has been in a wheelchair for several years after a catalogue of hip problems which mean she is in agonising pain. Some days it is so bad, she can not leave her bed.
