Ian is named as a Heat Hero

Ian Calvert of Halifax based energy efficiency firm YES Energy Solutions has won a Heat Hero award for helping vulnerable people slash their energy bills.

The national fuel poverty charity NEA, in partnership with Scottish Power, selected Ian as one of 16 winners from a pool of over 60 entries.

Ian is the sales development manager for YES Energy Solutions, a community interest company based in Holywell Green that’s dedicated to helping people reduce their carbon footprint.

Ian has been managing a scheme in Scunthorpe to help elderly people in Park Homes keep warm for less.

To help keep energy bills down, YES Energy Solutions secured funding to provide full insulation upgrades to over 30 properties, and Ian was nominated for helping householders engage with the scheme.
