Starting at noon, the festival was a celebration of Yorkshire beers with a delicious array of food from Setchfields Butchers of East Keswick, not to mention an impressive selection of wines, lagers and soft drinks.

Entry was just £3 and included a commemorative glass, programme and entertainment courtesy of ‘This Way Up’ and ‘The Boston Spa Guitar Club’. This year’s official sponsor was Beadnall & Copley.

This fund-raising group manned the tombola as well as having a craft table for kids, sweet stall and a fun loom-a-thon.

Organiser David Wort said “This was our best ever event with more than 330 people sampling the speciality ales and traditional Yorkshire fare.

“It was fantastic to see so many families enjoying themselves, too. Make a date now for next year’s East Keswick Beer Festival - October 10 2015!”

The Beer Festival is a fund-raising event to support East Keswick Village Hall, a registered charity.
