The 81st Charter Dinner of Soroptimist International Harrogate and District was held at the Pavilions of Harrogate.
President Andrea Trimmer awarded Mrs Pat Shore with honorary life membership. Entertainment was provided by international classical and modern violinist Kate Chruscicka.
Soroptimist International is a global, women’s volunteer movement working to transform the lives of women and girls. The first Soroptimist club was founded in 1921 in California. Today, there are around 80,000 members in 130 countries and territories. The organisation works at a local, national and international level to educate, empower and enable opportunities for women and girls.
