Around 100 runners a week take part in the parkrun, which takes place every Saturday at 9am over a 5k course.

Runners do three-and-a-half laps in the park on a mixture of tarmac and trail paths.

If you would like to take part in a future Parkrun, go to http://www.parkrun.org.uk/register/ and bring a printed copy of your barcode to the event. Parkruns are entirely organised by volunteers. If you would like to help, you can email halifaxhelpers@parkrun.com.
