Savile Park was taken over by a sea of pink last weekend for the annual Pretty Muddy event in aid of Cancer Research.

Pretty Muddy is a women-only, non-competitive 5k obstacle course, with added mud, thrills and spills.

The brave racers taking part encountered a whole host of messy obstacles including scramble nets, mud pools and a giant pink slide.

This year there was also a children’s event where anyone who was brave enough to tackle the mud could take part and raise money for charity.
