A public health body has invested over £2 million in local schemes to “make a positive contribution to the lives of people in Calderdale”.
NHS Calderdale Clinical Commissioning Group has made the one-off grants in local schemes to help improve the health of the people of Calderdale and respond to future health needs.
Dr Alan Brook, Chair, NHS Calderdale CCG said: “These schemes represent over £2 million of investment into the sector and will make a positive contribution to the lives of people in Calderdale. The investment will also help to develop a vibrant third sector that NHS Calderdale CCG will be able to commission services from in the future.”
The CCG has made investments in to projects such as; Basement Recovery, Calderdale Parents and Carers Council, Community Transport Calderdale and WomenCentre.
