It’s hot stuff as huge crowds go to carnival
THOUSANDS of people lined the streets and made their way to Centre Vale Park for Todmorden Carnival 2012.
The sunny weather saw last year’s modest attendance comfortably doubled as the Olympics and Jubilee theme brought out the best in the town’s creativity. The parade, led by Todmorden Community Band, saw Todmorden schools and community groups turn the streets and park red, white and blue.
