A partially-sighted woman climbed the five Wainwright mountains in the Lake District over one week.
Jane Brown, of Hebden Bridge, raised £1,600 for the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association and thanked all those who sponsored her.
She was diagnosed with Stargardts in 1998 and owns a working guide dog “Hazie” and retired guide dog “Clint.”
Mrs Brown said some of the terrain was difficult but she thoroughly enjoyed the challenge.
“Hazie loved every minute of the experience but Clint had to have a day off, due to an infection, from which he has now fully recovered,” she said.
Mrs Brown was supported by her husband, David, and friends that joined her along the challenge.
“It made for an unforgettable experience, and it was so lovely to share the magic that the Lake District Mountains offer,” she said.
Guide Dogs for the Blind was formed in 1931.
