JSA claimant figure for Calderdale falls again
The total number of people claiming Jobseekers Allowance in Calderdale has fallen again to 4,276.
This is a 0.2 per cent drop from last month’s figure of 4,613, with 3.3 per cent of the borough’s population currently receiving the benefit.
But that rate is higher than the figure for Yorkshire of 3.2 per cent and the Great Britain figure of 2.4 per cent.
