Kind-hearted Grace donates locks of love for charity

A kind-hearted little girl from Halifax had her hair cut to help a very special charity.

Grace Sirmond, nine, from Mixenden, has been growing her hair for months so she could have it cut to donate it to the Little Princess Trust.

The charity provides real hair wigs for children who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment.

It’s a cause close to her heart, as her dad Herbie Sirmond has fought two battles with breast cancer.

Her mum Kelly said: “We are so, so proud of her. We were just talking about how horrible it must be for people to lose their hair and Grace just decided it was something she wanted to do.”

Inspirational Grace also managed to raise a fantastic £417 for charity.
