Kitten rescued to safety by Halifax fire fighter

Fire crews from Halifax rescued a black and white kitten from a telegraph pole in Triangle.

The tiny tabby had been stuck up the pole for two days - with no sign of being able to make its way down to safety.

Halifax fire fighter Steven Bogg, who climbed up the pole staples of the pole to rescue to kitten, said: “The tiny kitten was happy as larry to see me and get to safety. It got straight in the box and was returned to safety.”

The RSPCA were also at the scene in which crews attended for 20-minutes at 3.30pm today (April 22).
