We’re inviting you to put forward a brave, generous, courageous or thoughtful child aged 16 or under who has gone the extra mile and deserves recognition for the amazing things they have done.

Run by the Halifax Courier Group, the awards aim to give something back to those who have helped friends, family or neighbours, courageous children who have battled adversity or illness, and those miniature heroes who have quickly sprung to action in times of crisis.

It will be Ann’s fourth pantomime at the theatre and she is looking forward to treading the boards in Halifax for another year.

She said: “One of the great things about panto is it is team work, both between the performers on stage and the backstage crew and between the actors and the audience so everyone feels part of it.

“It is also a changeable thing, so we work off the reactions of the audience more than in most theatrical pieces, so sometimes you don’t know exactly what will happen which keeps it fresh and exciting for everyone.”

Jack and the Beanstalk will run at the Victoria Theatre from Saturday, December 13, to January 4, 2015.
