IT’S celebrations all round after Calderdale College added another award to its cabinet.
The college, in Francis Street, Halifax, has been given the Training Quality Standard recognising its in-house training.
The award praises the development skills passed on to employers in Calderdale. It now joins only a handful of other Yorkshire colleges and renowned organisations including BMW, Rolls-Royce and the Premier League to have the benchmark.
Nicholas Worsnop, Chair of Business for Calderdale and partner at Chadwick Lawrence LLP, said: “It clearly recognises the diverse educational facilities our local college provides, not only to students themselves but as a facility for employers”.
Assessor Allyson Barton: “It was an extremely positive experience.”
