Leeds haulage fire targeted by thieves
The first offence happened during the early hours of Saturday, December 13, when entry was gained to the yard and goods stolen from a number of lorries parked inside.

Hide AdThe items stolen include Energizer batteries, Wilkinson Sword female razors, Adidas and Reebok clothing, Adidas Duramo women’s running shoes, Northface rucksacks and Allure menthol cigarettes.
The second offence occurred on Sunday, December 21, again during the early hours, when the warehouse building was broken in to and further items taken.
A large quantity of clothing, including Adidas and Next branded items, BOSE systems and razors were stolen.

Hide AdA 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of both offences.
PC Rachel Jackson, of Leeds District CID, said: “Hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of goods have been stolen in these two incidents, significantly impacting this local firm. We have been working closely with Farsley Transport Ltd who have taken measures to greatly improve their security.
“We are keen to speak to anyone who has any information about either of these incidents or who has been offered goods as described for sale in suspicious circumstances.”
