Let Overgate Hospice be part of your day

The Elland hospice is set within beautiful, tranquil gardens which, for a small donation, can be hired for the day to create the perfect scenery for those all-important wedding photos.

Whether you have a personal connection to the hospice or are just looking for a local venue to take some stunning photographs, Overgate is inviting couples to use the grounds for their pictures for a donation which will help support the people of Calderdale living with life-limiting illnesses.

Beth Kaminski, Community Fundraiser said “We are very lucky to have such beautiful gardens surrounding the hospice, which we have received both Silver and Gold Gilt Awards for from Yorkshire in Bloom.

“We love being able to share them with the community and having your wedding photos taken here is a wonderful way to support the hospice.

“The annual running costs of Overgate Hospice have now reached £3.5 million, meaning that we rely on the generous people of Calderdale to help raise £6,800 each and every day.

“Here at Overgate we can also help with your wedding favours and can provide anything from pin badges, trolley tokens, lottery tickets and place cards. All favours are produced in house and are bespoke to your needs including personal messages, names and photos if desired.”
