Lloyds Bank in Hebden Bridge to open five days a week to help flood-hit community

Lloyd's Bank in Hebden Bridge reopened its doors yesterday after the town was hit by devastating floods.

The branch, at Albert Street, is usually only open on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays but will open five days a week for the next fortnight.

Andy Hahn, Local Director of Lloyds Bank for West & South Yorkshire, said: “We are extremely grateful to our customers for their patience during this period of disruption caused by the recent flooding, which continues to affect a number of residents, businesses and local amenities in the area.

“We’ve worked hard to restore our services as quickly as possible, and now that we are back up and running, we’re keen to do as much as possible to support the local community during this period of upheaval.”

The bank’s opening hours up to January 22 are Monday to Friday 9.30am to 4.30pm.
