Look North's Harry and Paul head to Halifax in three-legged challenge for Sport Relief

Look North favourites Harry Gration and weatherman Paul Hudson will be in Halifax today for day five of their three-legged challenge for BBC Sport Relief 2016.

The unique challenge will see the pair walk, with their legs strapped together, more than 120 miles in nine days.

Taking in key Yorkshire landmarks including the Emley Moor transmitter, Saltaire and climbs up Otley Chevin and Castle Hill in Huddersfield, the pair will reach the finish line in York on Friday.

The duo will begin today’s routeat Woolshops Shopping Centre. They will be at the centre from 9am, before being waved off at 9.30am.

Jason Gregg, centre manager at Woolshops said: “We are delighted to be welcoming Harry and Paul to the centre and hope Halifax residents come along and help us send the presenters off in style for Day 5 of their challenge.”

Sport Relief is one of Comic Relief’s fundraising initiatives, in association with BBC Sport, which brings together the worlds of sport and entertainment to raise money to help vulnerable people in both the UK and the world’s poorest

countries.

This year’s event runs from Friday, March 18, to Sunday, March 20, 2016.
