Artists have been given a permanent space to showcase their work at Harvey’s, Halifax.
Paintings by members of Halifax Art Society are now on display and for sale at the department store in Rawson Street.
Anne Haley, chairwoman of the group, said: “We did an exhibition in Harvey’s in February. It went so well they have given us a permanent wall.”
“We all do different styles of art. People will see landscapes, flowers, seascapes, canals and some abstract work.”
“To have something like this is absolutely brilliant,” added Mrs Haley.
“We are really proud. It looks so good.”
