Man bailed over crash in Bell Hall in Halifax

A man arrested over a crash in Halifax which left another man critically ill has been released on bail pending further inquiries.

A green Peugeot 406 and an Audi A3 collided Savile Park Road at its junction with Elmfield Terrace in Bell Hall at 9.45pm on Wednesday, January 9.

The front seat passenger of the Peugeot was taken to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary with serious injuries.

He is understood to now be recovering.

The driver of the Peugeot -a 24-year-old man - received minor injuries and was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving but has now been bailed pending further inquiries.
