Man injured in Huddersfield robbery

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was injured in a robbery in Huddersfield.

Huddersfield CID would like to speak to anyone who has information about the incident which took place at about 6.20pm on Thursday February 21 at a house on Dog Kennel Bank, Moldgreen, Huddersfield.

It took place after three men entered the house through a back door and threatened a 26-year–old man inside before assaulting him, causing cuts to his head and face.

The intruders then searched the house before fleeing with a large amount of electrical items including three Apple iPads, an iPhone 4, an iMac Computer, iPods and a HP Notebook computer.

The 26-year-old required hospital treatment for his injuries but was later discharged.

The first suspect was described as either Asian or of middle eastern appearance, 5ft 8ins tall and of medium build, with curly short dark hair, bushy eyebrows and a sparse beard. He was wearing a multi coloured zipped hooded top.

The second suspect was white, 5ft 8ins tall, of medium build and wearing a white hooded top which covered his face, while the third man was described as being 5ft 9ins tall.

Anyone who has information, saw anyone acting suspiciously around the Moldgreen /Aspley/Lowerhouses areas, or has been offered a large amount of electrical equipment for sale since Thursday should contact the Police.
