Man threatened with knife in Huddersfield robbery


A 26-year-old man was threatened with a knife during a robbery at York Avenue, Fartown, Huddersfield, at 8 pm last night.(Sun)

The victim was by a car at the property when he was approached by a man who then forced him to lay across the driver and passenger seats and demanded items.

The man then threatened him with a knife before documents, money and keys were taken from the vehicle.

He is black, aged between 27 and 28 and about 5’7” tall. He was of a medium build with quite a large nose and wore a black bomber jacket and black trousers. He had a squint in his eye.

The man, who was with three other black men, then led the victim into the house and took money boxes containing cash.

One is described as aged between 27 and 28, 5’7” tall and of medium build. He had a goatee style beard and wispy facial hair and was wearing a black coloured woolly hat, light grey coloured tracksuit bottoms and matching hooded top and trainers.

The second is described as aged between 18 and 19, 5’5” tall and of medium build. He was wearing grey trousers and a grey woolly hat.

The third man is around 30 years old and about 5’10” tall. He had a full beard and was of stocky build. He had very short black hair and was wearing a grey tracksuit with a hooded top.

It it thought the four men left the scene in a silver coloured car - possibly a Volkswagen Gold.
