Man whose body was found in Elland is named
A 35-year-old man whose body was found in Elland on Wednesday has been named by coroners as Carl Dean Mellor.
Police were called to Quebec Works in Elland Lane at around 4.30pm, following reports of concerns for safety.
Mr Mellor, of Hollybank Road, Huddersfield, was found dead at the scene. There are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident.
An inquest into his death was opened and adjourned at Bradford Coroner’s Court this morning (Monday).
