Members of the Brighouse Ludenscheid Society took in all the sights of the historic town with a coach tour, a walk around the reservoir, a mini concert in the old town and a meeting with the Mayor of Ludenscheid, Dieter Dzewas.

A few members of the group also joined 6,000 runners in a fun run around the German town.

The visitors from Brighouse had an enjoyable time meeting other twinning groups and joining in with the town’s celebrations.

The Mayor of Ludenscheid has invited the twinning groups back to continue the year of celebrations in October for the Festival of Light Show.
