The Met Office has issued a warning of ice across West Yorkshire.

The national weather forecaster has reported that temperatures will fall to around or just below freezing tonight (January 10).

With recent wet weather still on the ground, icy stretches are expected to form as temperatures drop.

The ice warning continues into Saturday morning but come noon, as the sun is forecast to make an appearance over Calderdale, any ice is expected to clear.

Motorists are advised to take extra care on roads.
