Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Service are appealing for help from the public in identifying a group of men involved in disorder in London in August.

Officers have released images of eight men, all believed to be Leeds United fans, who had met in the Green Man Public House on Euston Road in central London prior to the Millwall v Leeds game.

At about 1pm some of the group were involved in a disturbance against a group of peaceful protestors gathering nearby.

DC Claire Starr from the Met’s Public Order investigations unit, said: “The protestors included a large number of young children and elderly people who were clearly distressed by the aggression and racial abuse hurled at them.

“I would urge anyone who can identify any of the men in the images to contact us.”

Anyone with information is asked to email: or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
