Money seized from criminals given to Calderdale groups

Groups across Calderdale have been given a boost thanks to cash seized from criminals.

West Yorkshire Police Community Trust, funded by money seized under the Proceeds of Crime Act, has given Orangebox and Square Chapel were given £2,125 to provide free membership to 50 young people, at risk of offending or facing financial difficulty, so they can engage in various activities as well as police sessions on issues such as knife crime.
