Ashville College Headmaster Mark Lauder said: “I speak for the whole school when I say how delighted we are with this year’s A-Level results, which are a fitting tribute to two years of hard work and dedication put in by our students.

“Our congratulations go to all those who achieved their desired grades, and we wish all of this year’s Upper Sixth leavers our very best wishes as they take the next step in their lives.

“Our overall aim is to ensure that when our students leave us they have had a full and rounded education, one that allows them to fulfil their true potential.”

Two Ashville students, Tara Hill and Joe Pieri, have also been recognised for their exceptional achievement this year, after securing places to study at the prestigious Cambridge University this September
