Motorists face delays on M62 eastbound
People driving into Calderdale this morning (Saturday) are facing heavy delays due to motorway chaos.
On the M62 eastbound people driving from the Manchester area are being held up due to an earlier broken down vehicle closing one of the lanes between J20 (Rochdale) and J21 (Milnrow).
Although that has now cleared there’s still heavy traffic due to the build up, with things getting worse towards the Halifax direction.
After J21 heavy fog is causing problems with motorists facing reduced visibility between there and Rishworth Moor (J22).
Rain forecast later is also likely to add to the problems.
