Musical youth invited to take centre stage

Talented youngsters from Knaresborough, Boroughbridge, Pateley Bridge, Nidderdale and surrounding villages are being invited to take part in Rotary Club’s annual Young Musician’s competition which will be held on Saturday November 14 at Boroughbridge High School.

Now in its 11th year this will be the first time it has been held in Boroughbridge having previously been based at King James’s School in Knaresborough.

Organiser Mike Wilkins said: “We usually get lots of entries from Boroughbridge and we thought it only fair to hold the event there for a change.”
