National praise for '˜exceptional' school

A Halifax school is celebrating after being nationally recognised for its exceptional performance.

All Saints’ Junior and Infant School, at Dudwell Lane, Skircoat Green, was praised by the Schools, Students and Teachers Network (SSAT) for its performance in 2015.

Data analysis on educational outcomes by the SSAT has shown that the school has enabled children to make progress in reading, writing and maths which is significantly higher than the national average at Key Stage 2.

It also showed that the school’s progress rated among the top 10 per cent nationally and the school also features among the top ten per cent of schools for attainment in the country.
