National praise for '˜exceptional' school
All Saints’ Junior and Infant School, at Dudwell Lane, Skircoat Green, was praised by the Schools, Students and Teachers Network (SSAT) for its performance in 2015.
Data analysis on educational outcomes by the SSAT has shown that the school has enabled children to make progress in reading, writing and maths which is significantly higher than the national average at Key Stage 2.

Hide AdIt also showed that the school’s progress rated among the top 10 per cent nationally and the school also features among the top ten per cent of schools for attainment in the country.
Simon Scott, head teacher of All Saints’ said:“I am so proud to be the Head Teacher of such a great school. Thanks to everyone for their continued hard work.
Sue Williamson, chief executive of SSAT said: “It’s my great pleasure to commend All Saints’ on its excellent 2015 performance, and to have the opportunity to highlight and share their great work at the SSAT Educational Outcomes celebration event. “I have the privilege of visiting a lot of schools and I am always impressed by the creativity of teachers in engaging and inspiring their students.
“I hope that SSAT’s Educational Outcomes award will highlight the professionalism, commitment and hard work of the leaders, teachers and students at the school.
